CV (LaTeX source)

LaTeX sources for my résumé, forked from billryan/resume.

Files

• resume.tex — English CV
• resume-cn.tex — Chinese CV
• resume.cls — document class (layout, fonts, section styling)
• fonts/Main/ — fonts loaded by resume.cls (Tex Gyre Termes + Fontin small caps)
• LICENSE — MIT license (upstream template)

Compile

The class loads fonts via fontspec, so it must be compiled with XeLaTeX (or LuaLaTeX) — not pdfLaTeX.

Option A — tectonic (single-file binary, recommended)

Download tectonic from https://tectonic-typesetting.github.io/ (or winget install tectonic / choco install tectonic), then:

tectonic resume.tex # → resume.pdf
tectonic resume-cn.tex # → resume-cn.pdf

Option B — xelatex (TeX Live / MiKTeX)

xelatex resume.tex
xelatex resume-cn.tex

Chinese CV note

resume-cn.tex sets \setCJKmainfont{SimSun} (宋体) and SimHei (黑体), the built-in Windows fonts. On Windows they work out of the box; on macOS/Linux install equivalent fonts and adjust the \setCJKmainfont line accordingly.
